a multilingual voice over artist
Raised in Sicily by my British mother and Italian father, I am completely bilingual English-Italian.
Acting and languages are my greatest passions and I act fluently in Italian, English, French and Spanish.
My voice is often described as warm, charismatic, charming and honest.
In English my natural accent is neutral English with a touch of Europe, but my accent range goes from British RP to Italian.
In Italian I record in perfect standard diction.

I'll answer a few questions
I am an Anglo-Italian actress and voice actress with more than 7 years of experience. I was born in the north of England as my mother is English but I grew up in Sicily, in the south of Italy. I therefore speak Italian and English fluently but I have also developed an ear for different languages which allows me to easily switch from English to Italian to French to Spanish. Now I would like to learn Portuguese, what a beautiful language it is! Even though I don’t come from an artistic background I have always been attracted to art and as a teenager I was part of a medieval circus company. We went around Sicilian festivals performing with fire and on stilts and singing medieval songs.
After a degree in Art History in York, England I decided to escape to Paris to find my true calling and it was in fact then that I enrolled in an acting school called Cours Florent. I then continued my acting studies at Mountview Academy in London and that’s when I started getting into voiceover. My dance teacher actually told me: hey, you have an interesting voice and know many languages, you should go into voice acting! And that’s how it started…. I love this job because I love telling stories and you can say a lot even with just a few words.
My voice is often described as warm, charismatic, honest and sensual.
However, it varies depending on what the client and project require.
In English I often record with my natural accent which is an international and undetectable English accent.
However, I can sound more British or more Italian depending on the client’s wishes.
In Italian I record with the standard neutral Italian accent required for dubbing jobs in Italy called “diction”.
In French and Spanish I have a subtle Italian accent.
In general, I am very versatile and a bit of a perfectionist.
I often work from my home studio with clients from all over the world.
I have a perfectly isolated booth and am available to connect with Source Connect or Session Link Pro (see my studio details!).
For large projects I also travel to London, Paris and Rome if necessary.
I have worked for many brands over the years. Most recently I have lent my voice to Meta, Loro Piana, Cartier, Tanqueray, Leffe, Corona, Adidas and the list goes on….I also record many corporate projects and audio guides.
Well, I have my own podcast!
It’s called Roberta Jones: Looking at the Past to See the Future.
A podcast in which my alter ego Roberta Jones (Indiana Jones’ granddaughter) talks about interesting works of art and topics from the past that can inspire us to create a better future.
